This is an introductory course to those who are interested in being able to support themselves and immediate family within their homes. This is a requisite course to attend the intermediate and advanced coursework. Student Apprenticeship License through Turtle Island Network are required to be completed upon approval of attendance. This must be completed immediately as it does take a few weeks to get applications approved through our International Licensing office for the Tribal Medical board. All approved attendees must have this in place in order to receive and practice dosing Medicinals. Instructions to complete the application will be given to each approved student. This is not optional due to our jurisdiction. If this has not been completed prior to attending, you will be disqualified from attending the current course and your enrollment will be pushed out to the next round of training. ONAC membership may be acquired as well.
Ensight Vital Lab which consists of 45 Medical reports to qualify each individual to receive Medicinals will be reviewed through a Health Strategy Interview with one of our Physicians. This will be scheduled by our clinic for an online review of your labs.
Once you are medically cleared to receive Kambo Medicine you will then go through an interview process with two of our Kambo practitioners to discuss your goals and any emotional pieces that need to be disclosed to our practitioners to make sure you have appropriate support. Kambo is not a light medicine. It often stirs deep emotional processing. Dr. James Phillips, CTIH and Linzee Ruper, MFT will be primarily performing these Health Strategy Interviews. Their combined backgrounds are Doctor of Indigenous Medicine, Kambo Practitioners, Psychology, Sociology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mindfulness and Social Justice and Life Purpose Coaching.
Enrollment is limited to 10-12 students. We will not accept more than the allotted number of students as we are committed to providing quality training and care to our students. Those that have already completed the initial Kambo training through our former sister company Kambo Healing Me, will be required to test out with our trainers and complete any additional requirements to step into a progressive course i.e., skipping beginner and attending the next intermediate course. Please speak with our office to schedule and discuss the testing out process and cost.
